Garden Fete
(July 11, 2009)Our 22nd Garden Fete took place at Vine Farm on 11th July 2009 starting at 2pm.
All the traditional stalls, with the addition of more games this year, thanks to the Great Dalby Cricket Club and Russell.
There are no commercial stalls at the fete - only village-based organisations can take part - this year we had Neighbourhood Watch, Great Dalby Cricket Club and the Methodist Church joining the Church Fundraisers.
A splendid day ensued, with good weather, following a couple of weeks of rain and wind. A record £3000 was raised. Thanks to all.
The Fete Helpers were invited to a BBQ at the fete venue in September 2009 and 54 attended!
